September 25, 2003: 25 September 2003 Absolut Vodka to launch new promotional campaign in China
Absolut Vodka will soon begin a new promotional campaign on the Chinese market in correlation with the launch of a new flavor of vodka, Maxxium Senior Product Manager Maggie Shen told Interfax in an interview. Maxxium is the official distributor of Absolut Vodka in China. Absolut is also a shareholder in Maxxium.
Absolut’s new vodka product to be launched in China is named Abosolut Peppar, and the new promotional campaign centered on this product involves a special limited edition packaging that Shen described as “a collectors item.” Absolut Peppar has already been launched to market in North American and European, but will be soon made available for the first time in China.
Furthermore, Absolut will also launch a new print ad campaign in China, Shen added.
“I cannot provide details about the ad, except that it is a printed ad with a twist,” Shen said. (source: interfax.com)
